DAY 1: ARUSHA
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your driver will greet you and transfer you to the hotel

AM and PM at leisure. Get over your jetlag

DAY 3: KARATU
Meet your private guide at the reception at the agreed-upon time (suggest an early departure) and start the drive on the safari highway towards Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is known for its massive elephant population and is a great starting point for any safari.
Arrive in the park mid-morning for a game drive with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, drive to your lodge in the Rift Valley region of Manyara.

DAY 4: KARATU
Today is meant to give you a break from the safari and enjoy the Ngorongoro Forest and immerse yourself in this amazing lodge that has won many awards for being a regenerative property.

DAY 5: CENTRAL SERENGETI
After an early breakfast start the drive towards the Serengeti, home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on Earth, the migratory herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam widely in search of green grass and water. You will have a long en-route game drive to the camp with a picnic lunch. Arrival will be in the late afternoon.
You will be stopping to take pics, relax for lunch and just enjoy the day.

DAY 6: CENTRAL SERENGETI
After breakfast, you will go on an amazing game drive through the great Serengeti where you will see the “big five” in their natural habitat and -- if you’re lucky – a hunt and a kill.
You will be brought back for lunch to the camp or you may opt for a picnic lunch within the park. After lunch, you will go on another game drive through a different part of the Serengeti so you can really take in what this piece of wild Africa has to offer.
After both AM and PM game drives, you will be tired and dusty so a well-deserved shower and an amazing dinner at the lodge await.

DAY 7: NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast, continue the journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an AM en-route last game drive through the Serengeti with a picnic lunch. This is another chance to get a half-day game drive in the Serengeti before leaving the area.
En-route it is possible to stop at a Maasai village and Olduvai Gorge, a rich archaeological site in Tanzania where evidence of early humans has been found.
You will then enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and make your way to your lodge.

DAY 8: NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the Earth's largest unbroken caldera, and one of the natural wonders of the world.
Enjoy the concentration of wildlife from black rhino, hippo, flamingo, elephant, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and lion. Enjoy a full day game drive in the crater with a picnic lunch. Return to the lodge in the evening for an amazing dinner.

- After breakfast, leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive to the Arusha Airport.
